Hello SOLL families,
We're into our first week of games for SOLL Fall season, and as previously communicated the health and safety of our players, coaches, and families are our biggest concern. We monitored the park Monday and Tuesday night and are very concerned with what we've observed. As previously communicated, it's critical we do our part to prevent community spread of COVID-19. Many of you are adhering to our Safety Plan, but unfortunately many are not.
Effective immediately (9/24/2020) mask will be MANDATORY for all Coaches and Umpires. Second, as per CDC and Governor's recommendations - everyone must social distance by 6 feet - OR - wear a mask. We strongly encourage everyone to take responsibility and adhere to these rules.
We will be monitoring the park closely tonight and Saturday - if we are not comfortable with the observance of the rules by our spectators - we will institute a mandatory mask policy on Monday.
Our goal is to keep everyone safe and play baseball/softball - PLEASE DO YOUR PART to help make that happen. We ask that everyone do your part in keeping our SOLL families safe and adhere to the local/county/state safety protocols.
Lastly - we welcome any and all volunteers willing to support the Board enforcing and managing the park on a nightly basis. We have received multiple ideas and feedback on how to best manage the situation (all welcome and very helpful ideas) - but the Board and Committees are made up of 11-12 individual volunteers - any help we can receive would be most appreciated. For those willing to do so, please step forward.
